A little change of pace recently. Graphite is really a joy to work with and black and white portraits are classic. Helps to have a cute subject. 💕 Faber Castell pencils on Strathmore Bristol paper.

This is a beagle drawing from a few years ago and unfortunately she passed away shortly after I drew her. But I'm really honored that her owner has asked for me to draw her new chihuahua. Hopefully he will be featured next month.

I had a lot of fun drawing this hairy pig on drafting film using Polychromos and Luminance. The smooth film allows for sharp details and builds layers quickly. Following Becca Barron, I used an underpainting on another paper under the film. I think she is super cute. ❤️ 🐖
